box\u201d safety warning from most menopausal hormone therapies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A turning point after more than 20 years of confusion and fear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Dr. Marty Makary, FDA Commissioner, stated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are stopping the fear machine steering women away from this life-changing, even life-saving treatment.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is changing?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u201cblack box\u201d warning, the most severe caution a medication can carry, has been present since 2003.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It warned of increased risks of
