Study of the cancer and cardiovascular risk of anti-aging treatments
A retrospective study has been done on 281 successive patients (181 women, 100 men) under preventive and hormone replacement therapies since at least two years, mainly in Dr Hertoghe’s consultation

For a mean follow-up of more than 6 years: an approximate – 30 % decrease in risk of overall cancer incidence in men and women under anti-aging therapies (including at least one hormone replacement therapy), and of breast in women was observed. The risk of prostate cancer was not significantly different than in the general population in the USA and France, but lower than in the Belgian male population.
See figures below:
A study of the cardiovascular disease risk is on-going. Preliminary results suggest an approximately -25 % reduction of the incidence of new hypertension and of new coronary heart disease in both sexes compared to US citizens.
